船山先生的佛學現量觀

On Wang Chuanshan’s Idea of Xian Liang

【摘要】 王船山,平生多與僧人交游,思想上沿襲宋明思想家的理路,游走于儒、佛、老之間,對佛學兼包并容,并有《相宗絡索》傳世。在認識論、方法論上,全盤吸收法相宗對“識”的分析和認知過程的探討,突出現量在認知過程中的覺悟己性真實的重要作用,固然只是對相宗各種概念的注釋,其現量論也只是因明學的翻版,既非創建哲學體系的需要,也非經世致用的理論指導,更不是修證的實踐,但其承前啟后的作用實在功不可沒。

【Abstract】 Wang Chuanshan makes friends with the Buddhist monks more in all his life,follows the line of reasoning of thinkers in Song and Ming dynasty and incorporates into Buddhism,Confucianism and Taoism on his thought and compose The sketch of FaXiang school.On epistemology and methodology,he absorbs FaXiangs analysis on Shi,(consciousness) and discussion of the knowing course in order to stand out the true important function of XianLiang(intuition) to know self-nature.Although these works just annotates the different notions of the school of FaXiang and a reproduction of Hetu-vidya Logic,it is not the need of establishing the system of philosophy and the politics theoretical direction,not even the practice of cultivation,but its function of taking over from the past and setting a new course for the future performed meritorious deeds can never be neglected indeed.
